Torch Haiti Schools

Torch Haiti sponsors over 500 students grades pre-school through high school with 38 paid certified teachers and a safe space to learn. In 2019 100% of our students passed the graduation test! This is an incredible number given national averages.

Feeding Program

Weekly our team works to feed over 500 children in what is often their only meal of the day. Despite national resource shortages our teams works diligently in partnership with organizations including but not limited to Food for the Poor and Feed our Starving Children to transport food on the long journey to Deyemon. This commitment to bring resource to a remote area allows us to act as a beacon of hope for many families who are unable to provide for their children.

A heartbreaking issue that is prevalent in areas like Deyemon is that children are often considered “orphans” not because their parents have died but because they are unable to care for them financially. We consider it a privilege to care for children through our feeding programs so that they are more likely to stay with their family as they grow up.
